Founded in 1976 and listed in Hong Kong since 1981. Henderson Land is a leading property group with a focus on Hong Kong and mainland China. Together with its subsidiary and associates, the Group comprises six listed companies, namely The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited(which in turn has equity stakes in a listed subsidiary, Towngas China Company Limited)with a vast business presence in mainland China; Miramar Hotel and Investment Company, Limited; Hong Kong Ferry(Holdings) Company, Limited; and Henderson Investment Limited.

Henderson Land's core business comprise property development and property investment. The Group's portfolio of award-winning landmark projects is the result of close collaboration with some of the world's foremost architects and professionals. These include the iconic International Finance Centre complex in Hong Kong's Central CBD; the city's first purpose-built medical and wellness hub in a smart building, the H Zentre which is located at the heart of the buzzling Tsim Sha Tsui commercial district; and The Henderson project, which is set to be the future landmark of Hong Kong designed by the internationally acclaimed Zaha Hadaid Architects. In mainland China, the Group has established strong property development credentials in various cities since 1980s, such as World Financial Centre in Beijing designed by architect Cesar Pelli, and Henderson Metropolitan in Shanghai designed by Tange Associates.
